TLC Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Middleburg, Ohio.

Shift: Nights 7p-7a, Every 3rd Weekend. Required to work OB & Postpartum on rotational basis.

If HCP is lowed they are considered "on-call" for remainder of shift. If called in, must arrive within 30 mins.

Bill Rate: $95(local)/$105(traveler)

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing
At least 3 years of experience working in OB, Postpartum, and/or L&D
Required licensure, certification or registry:
Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
BLS (Required)
NRP (Required)
STABLE (Required)
Position summary:
A professional caregiver who plans, provides, and directs patient care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process in
accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. He/she acts as a liaison between physicians, patient and
family, and collaborates with other health care members. He/she assists in the orientation process of new personnel, and
may participate in health center and department committees. The staff nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge
and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups according to specific chronological age, developmental age,
and/or psycho-social maturity.

Below are the duties and responsibilities for this position.
Conducts a comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of the patient according to established standard, including the assessment of safety and educational needs.
Participates in the establishment of a collaborative plan of care based on the assessment data, with all other involved disciplines and communicates this plan of care as appropriate.
Implements and evaluates the plan of care based on identified patient goals and intended outcomes. Modifies the plan of care, based on reassessment of the patient’s status.
Completes all documentation according to established standard and utilizes the established documentation tools
appropriately.
Assesses the readiness of the patient and significant other to learn and implements the individualized education plan according to the need.
Actively participates in the Department of Nursing or unit-based initiatives, including such activities as provision of in-service opportunities or volunteering to serve as project point for committees and task forces.
Provides age appropriate care for the specific population served as detailed by the organization.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Southwest General Health Center with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our Standards of Performance each and every day.
