Job Summary:
The healthcare professional position is located in the Postpartum Floor within an organization that provides maternal and neonatal care. This role involves supporting gynecological teaching, postpartum bladder training, and maternal-newborn education. The incumbent will work the night shift, providing comprehensive nursing services in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; current registered nurse license in the state of California; certifications including Basic Life Support and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program; demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring, IV skills, lab draws, high-risk medication administration, urine point of care testing, and blood glucose testing; knowledge of adult cardiac monitoring, newborn monitors, IV administration/maintenance, Bili-blankets/lights, radiant warmers, and maternal-infant teaching.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery and postpartum experience; minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
  • Additional Information: The position supports clinical and operational duties relevant to postpartum and maternal care. Candidates should be prepared to work night hours and meet all listed qualifications.
