Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:30)
Shift Length: 3*12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of acute care hospital inpatient experience and a strong background in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal vital signs.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and assist with pain management techniques.
Support physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures.
Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, and recovery.
Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Skills:

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in maternal and fetal care.
Proficiency in fetal monitoring and interpretation of vital signs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family support.
Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
Knowledge of labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn assessment.
