Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Oregon City, OR 97045
Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:30)
Shift Length: 3*12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

 

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of acute care hospital inpatient experience and a strong background in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal vital signs.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and assist with pain management techniques.
  • Support physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures.
  • Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in maternal and fetal care.
  • Proficiency in fetal monitoring and interpretation of vital signs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family support.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn assessment.
