13-Week Contract | Night Shifts | 32 Guaranteed Hours
Seeking an experienced Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Wisconsin. Join a dedicated maternal-newborn team providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a supportive hospital environment.
Requirements:
3 Years experience and Active Wisconsin RN License
Minimum OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Strong fetal monitoring, labor management, and newborn assessment skills
Ability to cross-train and assist Med-Surg/EICU patients as needed
Assignment Details:
13-week contract
Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
32 guaranteed hours per week (2 x 12-hour shifts)
Weekend rotation required
Holiday coverage required
W-2 employment only (No 1099)
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers and newborns
Assess labor progression and monitor fetal heart tracings
Assist with inductions, deliveries, and postpartum care
Perform newborn assessments and neonatal resuscitation within certification scope
Recognize and respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies
Administer medications and treatments safely
Educate patients and families on maternal and newborn care
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
