Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics position requiring an active CA RN license and NRP certification.

Details

• Work in the Obstetrics Acute unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Current NRP certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty, with recent experience within the last 3 months
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education alongside the treatment team
