Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Mauston, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position in Wisconsin involves providing high-quality maternal and newborn nursing care within a hospital setting. The role includes collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver compassionate, patient-centered services. Additionally, there is cross-training to care for Medical Surgical and Emergency Intensive Care Unit patients as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift hours, approximately 36 hours per week, starting on 08/08/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Two-year degree in nursing, Wisconsin Registered Nursing license (must be maintained), American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire, NeonaTalkal Resuscitation Program within 6 months of hire, Stable Certification within 1 year of hire, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for performing initial nursing assessments, managing labor and delivery procedures, and responding to obstetric emergencies. They will monitor fetal heart rates, manage pregnancy-related conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, and perform neonatal resuscitation and surveillance. Effective communication and patient education are critical components of the role.
