Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position in the department of Labor and Delivery at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with established standards. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, providing health education and counseling, and supporting therapeutic and treatment activities aimed at promoting patient well-being.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing; certification as appropriate for the unit or service.
• Responsibilities include performing nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, medical function execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, resource utilization, and providing support within the scope of nursing practice.
• Adequate clinical experience in Labor and Delivery or similar specialty is preferred.
