Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Bangor, Maine.

General Information:
Minimum years of experience? at least 2 years in Labor & Delivery
Will you accept a first-time traveler? No, must have completed at least 1 assignment at a facility comparable in size and acuity
Level III NICU; Newborn Nursery
Goal designated safe sleep facility
Average # of deliveries per year? 1800
Typically, will do 4 scheduled events daily (c-sections, versions, etc)
Required Certifications:
RN: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate or Advanced FHM, MOAB
Skills required:
RN: titrate Pitocin, Fetal scalp electrodes, cervical exams, helps CRNA with epidural placement, management of insulin drips, magnesium drips, Shoulder dystocia, circulating c-section and/or receive baby in OR, neonatal resuscitation, assist with placement and monitor of IUPC; Newborn care to include: ability to provide lactation support, safe skin to skin protocol
Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacity
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: out of 8 weekend shifts per schedule, will work at least 4 (could be back-to-back)
No call required; may be an option to pick up call
Holiday Expectations: will do a rotation
RTO Approval:
Manager approval required
