Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Nampa, Idaho.

Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty position is located in Nampa, Idaho. This role involves staffing a busy L&D unit with a focus on maternal and neonatal care, including attending deliveries, providing postpartum couplet care, and managing antepartum and postpartum patients. The position offers a comprehensive experience in a dynamic obstetric environment with on-site neonatal and obstetric specialists.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must have 3 years of labor and delivery (L&D) experience, including mother-baby care, with at least 1 year preferred. Candidate must have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Stable. Must be able to attend deliveries, provide newborn care, and perform circulating duties for cesarean sections and postpartum care. Experience with magnesium protocols and titratable drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin) is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience is a plus.
  • Duties: Staffing includes assessments, deliveries, postpartum and antepartum patient care, triage, and newborn stabilization. Assist with all aspects of labor and delivery, including supporting first-time travelers and managing emergency protocols.
  • Additional Information: Orientation includes four shifts on the unit, with compliance and EPIC Curio assignments completed prior to start. The unit operates with a charge nurse system and float requirements across multiple sites. Scrubs are hospital issued. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and have reliable transportation to multiple sites as needed.
