Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a birthing pavilion in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This position involves providing high-quality obstetric care in a busy maternity department with approximately 1,300 deliveries annually. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care across various maternal health scenarios, following staffing guidelines that ensure safety and quality. The role requires dedication to supporting both antepartum and postpartum patients in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, childbirth or labor and delivery experience, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a maternity or obstetric setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of AWHONN staffing guidelines, experience with high-risk obstetric patient management, and familiarity with fetal monitoring and labor support techniques.
• Additional Information: This position requires adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards specific to maternity care, including nurse-patient ratios outlined by organizational guidelines. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to support labor and delivery patients during active labor, cervical ripening, postpartum recovery, and surgical procedures if necessary.
