Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to support the labor and postpartum unit in Arcadia, California. This travel assignment involves providing expert nursing care for laboring patients, cesarean section patients, and triage cases. Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule of 3 x 12-hour shifts per week and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of L&D experience (reduced from 3 years to 2 years for improved candidate pool), L&D triage experience, current RN license, BLS, NRP, ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications, and experience with laboring patients, cesarean section patients, and triage.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position requires working in a 9-bed labor and delivery unit with patient ratios varying between 1:1 and 1:2 depending on acuity. The unit cares for laboring women, cesarean section patients, and triage cases. EMR system used is Allscripts. The assignment duration is 13 weeks starting on 08/24/2026. The role involves working during major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Travel with current seasonal flu vaccination is required during flu season; COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended but not mandatory.
