Job Description: Position: RN – Labor & Delivery Location: Evanston, IL Setting: Hospital – Labor & Delivery 

Schedule:

• 3x12s, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Virtual client interview required

Local Pay Package: $68/hour $68 × 36 hours = $2,448/week gross Must live close to the facility to qualify for the local rate. Must live 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel package. Travel Pay Package: $2,836/week total

• Taxable Wages: $792/week
• Housing Stipend: $1,400/week
• Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $644/week

Overview:

• Provide care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing and identify complications promptly
• Support mothers and families through the childbirth process
• May float to the Antepartum Unit as needed
• Strong opportunity for experienced Labor & Delivery nurses seeking a short-term assignment with extension potential

Additional Details:

• Charting: EPIC
• 6-week contract with likely extension
• Maximum of 1 shift cancellation during assignment
• 3 openings available
• Electronic fetal monitoring experience preferred
• Telemetry monitoring experience is a plus
• File due date: 10/1/2026

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN License
• BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Antepartum and Postpartum experience required
• Previous travel/agency contract experience
• EPIC experience
