First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Burbank, California.

Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
    • Scheduling Details: Self-scheduling model. No block scheduling guaranteed (per manager discretion only).
    • Weekend Protocol: Every other weekend | 4 weekend shifts per schedule block.
  • On-Call Protocol: On-call is not required.
  • Floating Protocol [HARDSTOP]: Floating required between like units (e.g., Antepartum, Postpartum / Couplet Care).
  • Call-Off Policy: Facility is permitted to call off a maximum of 1 shift per 2-week pay period.
  • Assignment Duration: 18-Week Contract (10/05/2026 Start) | 1 Open Position.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1.5 to 2+ years of current L&D RN experience in an acute care setting.
    • First-Time Travelers: First-time travel nurses accepted.
  • Clinical Skill Mandates [HARDSTOP]: Must be a comprehensive Perinatal RN capable of managing the full L&D and Postpartum scope:
    • Antepartum care, high-risk labor management, and obstetrical triage.
    • Circulating C-sections and recovering PACU patients (general/regional anesthesia).
    • Newborn care at delivery and Postpartum (PP) couplet care.
  • EMR Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR is required.
  • Licensure Requirements [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active State RN License in state of practice (Pending licenses strictly NOT accepted).
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active AHA BLS / BCLS certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA ACLS certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification [HARDSTOP].
  • Submission Administrative Mandates: All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be declared at the time of profile submission.
