Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide high-acuity obstetric care in a Level II Trauma Center and Level IV NICU. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing high-risk OB patients, performing labor management and delivery, triaging OB patients, circulating in the OR, and caring for both mother and newborn during recovery.
Location:
Tacoma, WA
Schedule:
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 10-Hour Nights
• 40 Guaranteed Hours/Week
Required Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience preferred
• High-acuity Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk OB patient management
• OB patient triage experience
• OR circulating experience
• Cervical checks
• Ability to interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Experience with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, inductions, epidurals, preterm labor, and antepartum patients
• Experience with postpartum hemorrhage and high-risk OB conditions
• EPIC experience required
• First-time travelers may be considered upon review
Required Certifications:
• BLS
• NRP
• Intermediate FHM – AWHONN
