Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification and a CA RN license.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit following the LDRP model
• Night shift, 1900-0730, 36 hours per week with rotating shifts
• No call requirements
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required on hire and every two years thereafter
• Novice or new-to-L&D RNs must complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course during first 6-8 months of orientation
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• No prior license disciplinary action permitted

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as a Registered Nurse
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care responsibilities
• Meet established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote collaboration among the healthcare team
• Position is represented by CNA
• Actively participate in unit committees such as Shared Governance
