- Start Date: 10/5/2026
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Rotating weekends; every other weekend; schedule released in 3-week increments
- Holiday Expectation: One major holiday and one minor holiday
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,580 - $2,720
- On-Call: Not required
- Floating: May float only to areas where competent; traditional travelers may float between Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification, or completion of an approved fetal monitoring module
- Strong clinical confidence with cervical exams, antepartum care, labor management, amnioinfusion, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IV therapy, and Pitocin administration
- Postpartum experience, including care for stable mother-baby couples and basic breastfeeding support
- Comfort caring for low-risk and higher-acuity obstetric patients in a fast-paced maternity care environment
- Pyxis experience required
- Ability to work effectively with a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team
- First-time travelers welcome
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, antepartum patients, and postpartum mother-baby couples
- Perform assessments, cervical exams, fetal monitoring, and ongoing labor support
- Administer and monitor medications, IV therapies, and obstetric interventions such as Pitocin and amnioinfusion
- Support cesarean deliveries, triage, and high-risk situations in collaboration with the care team
- Deliver patient education and support throughout the birth and postpartum experience
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and follow unit processes for medication access and patient safety
- Collaborate with anesthesia, NICU, hospitalists, and other support services as needed
- Uphold professional standards and contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment
