Contract Details

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
  • Weekend: Every other weekend — 6 weekends
  • Scheduling: Self-scheduling

  

 Pay Breakdown

 

 (Based on 48 hours)

 W2 (taxable): $32.00/hr
 OT for 8 hours: $48.00
 Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $ 1,267.00
 Gross Weekly Pay: $2,931.00/week



Requirements

  • Experience Required: 2 years L&D experience
  • Certification Required: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
  • License Required: Texas RN License
  • Travel Experience: Required; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Charting: Epic required
  • Patient Ratio: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
  • Charge Experience: Preferred
  • Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
  • Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred
  • Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 request
  • Float: Not required

  • Antihypertensive and insulin drip management
  • Blood and blood product administration
  • Central line/CVC/PICC management
  • Neonatal resuscitation and APGAR scoring
  • Baby nurse/baby catcher experience
  • Newborn assessment and hypoglycemia management
  • Phototherapy and thermoregulation
  • Breastfeeding/lactation support
  • Couplet care and postpartum care
  • Postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension
  • Cesarean section and multiple-birth care
  • Cervical cerclage, D&C, and tubal ligation
  • Epidural, general anesthesia, PCA, and pain management
