Position: RN – Labor & Delivery 

Location: Dubuque, IA 

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12 hour nights | 36 hrs/week


Pay Package (36 hrs):
• W2 (Taxable): $47/hr
• Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $1,246/week
• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,959/week

 

UNIT Info

  • Bed Size:  Maternity, 16; Nursery, 12; NICU, 4; C-section suite, 1; Overflow rooms
  • Ratios: Labor: 1:1; PP: 1:2; NICU: 2:1
  • Patient Types:  antepartum, MB, newborn, OB/GYN, NICU
  • Drips/Titrations; glucose, magnesium, pitocin, insulin
  • Delivery volume: 50-60 births/month
  • Level 2 maternal/neonatal center


Requirements:

  • 24 months of Labor & Delivery / L&D experience [required]
  • nursery / Mother-Baby experience [preferred]
  • Post Partum experience [nice to have]
  • NICU experience [preferred[
  • travel experience within the last 15 months [required]
  • EPIC experience [required]
  • NRP certificate – [required] [document]
  • Intermediate OR Advanced - EFM / electronic fetal monitoring certificate -- [required] [document]
  • STABLE certificate [required] [document]
  • Medication administration experience: glucose, magnesium [required]
  • Medication administration experience: potocin, insulin [required]
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS
