The Labor and Delivery Department in a healthcare facility is seeking a Clinical Nurse II. This Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive patient care, demonstrating safe practice, clinical expertise, and leadership within the inter-professional healthcare team. The role involves caring for patients across the lifespan, from infancy to adult, with a focus on patient-centered care, safety, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement.

• Position Description: The Clinical Nurse II practices as a full partner on the healthcare team, exhibiting organizational core values and providing independent nursing care based on the nursing process. Responsibilities include applying knowledge and skills to meet standards for professional nursing practice, ensuring a high level of care through patient-centered approaches, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Required Qualifications: Current California RN License; Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS); American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification via AWHONN; minimum of three years of recent Labor and Delivery and antepartum experience; proficiency in clinical equipment and technology; experience in guiding unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN is responsible for engaging in clinical decision-making, advanced care planning, and collaborating with the team to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
