Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Keene, NH
Employment Type: 13 Weeks Contract
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum.
- Assess, monitor, and manage maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
- Deliver postpartum and Mother/Baby nursing care, including patient assessments, education, and discharge planning.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and neonatal resuscitation situations.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
- Recent Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience.
- Experience using Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation (required).
