Job Summary: Labor and Delivery Nurse for a healthcare facility in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling high-risk situations in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery or related setting
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
License, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery (must have occurred within the last two (2) years)
One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years
High Risk OB experience is preferred
