Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a high-acuity obstetric care setting. The role involves providing specialized care in a dynamic environment, supporting women through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases. The selected candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in labor and delivery nursing, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 10/27/2026 to 02/02/2027, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA RN license, BSN, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 3 years of labor and delivery nursing experience (including at least 1 year of recent experience), and ability to float across facilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate certifications, previous charge nurse experience, travel assignment experience, and proficiency with Epic electronic charting system.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced*, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
• Skills: Circulating for Cesarean sections, postpartum care, high-risk obstetric support, neonatal resuscitation, use of fetal monitoring equipment, labor support, postpartum hemorrhage management, and patient education.
• Additional Information: The facility handles 200-300 births monthly, with a diverse patient population including high acuity cases, postpartum, and antepartum patients. Demonstrated ability to manage complex obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies, is required. Resources may be reassigned within a 75+ mile radius during assignment as necessary. All RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of job offer and approved by the manager; no requests are accepted mid-contract.
• Travel Experience Required: Yes.
• Certifications & Experience: Candidates must have completed relevant modules prior to start, including obstetric and neonatal care modules, with annual refreshers. Previous employment with university-affiliated facilities is preferred, with proper documentation for rehire eligibility.
