Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility in Wenatchee, WA. Job Details
Position: RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Schedule: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: WA State / Compact RN Licensure, active BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), FHM (Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring) certifications; 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care in a caring and compassionate manner using the nursing process and unit standards
Develops, implements, and reassesses patients individualized plan of care
Administers medications, completes nursing procedures and treatments
Continually evaluates discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
Documents care provided, assessments, plans, interventions, and responses accurately
Collects patient information needed to provide safe, high-quality care
Conducts holistic ongoing assessments and responds appropriately
Determines and completes appropriate nursing actions to meet care goals, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
Provides health education to patients and families in a timely manner, sharing written informational materials
Maintains current knowledge of workflows, evidence-based procedures, and hospital policies
Delegates and oversees care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
Participates in performance evaluation and quality improvement processes
Communicates and collaborates effectively with the healthcare team
Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff according to policies
Additional Information: Must float as a sitter; may float in rotation.
Submission requirements: Candidates must be able to start on 10/19/2026 and work through 01/17/2027.
