Labor & Delivery RN | Pleasanton, CA

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pleasanton, CA. The RN will provide care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, including fetal monitoring, patient assessments, medication administration, and patient education.

Assignment Details

• Location: Pleasanton, CA
• Unit: Labor & Delivery
• Start Date: 8/30
• Duration: 13 weeks, potential extension
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM start)
• Schedule: 3x12s, 36 hours/week

Requirements

• Active CA RN License
• 3+ years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• EPIC experience required
• Previous travel RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor mothers and babies throughout labor and delivery
• Assess patient conditions and identify complications
• Administer medications and support delivery procedures
• Provide patient education and emotional support
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
