Job Summary: Labor and Delivery Nurse in a healthcare facility located in the community. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, adherence to hospital protocols, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour shift times, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
One (1) year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery or related field.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.
Five (5) or more years of recent experience within the last two (2) years, with specific experience in labor and delivery preferred.
At least one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience is preferred.
Additional Information:
Enable Skills-Based Hiring was assessed for this position.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is required.
Need to be available to start on 10/05/2026 and complete the assignment by 01/02/2027.
