Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse, L&D Night Shift, from the healthcare provider in the specified location, is responsible for providing expert obstetric nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. This role involves supporting high-risk pregnancies and ensuring patient safety and comfort through comprehensive clinical care.
Job Details
Required Qualifications:
1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
Five (5) or more years of recent labor and delivery experience (must have occurred within the last two years)
One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the past two years
High-Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience preferred
Schedule:
Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Additional information:
Environments may require ability to handle high-risk OB cases
