Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Department nurse position located in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves providing specialized obstetric care in a high-volume facility, supporting labor and delivery patients during day shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a labor and delivery setting and hold current certifications in BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate, with ACLS preferred.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting from 09/14/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; two years of labor and delivery experience; active compact license; ability to attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases; experience with blood/blood products administration and high-risk labor management.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification.
- Patient Diagnoses: Labor and preterm labor.
- Unit Details: 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms.
- Special Procedures/Unit Capabilities: Cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, epidural and PCA pumps, wound vac, medication management including Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate, and more.
- Additional Information: Staff may be required to float between facilities nearby the contracted location based on skill set. Candidates must be flexible to work three of the five designated holidays and adhere to scheduling requests submitted upfront.
- Travel and Licensing: Open to local candidates within 50 miles; must have a valid compact license in hand at submission.
- Candidate Requirements: Must include responses to prior work at a Providence facility (if applicable), and submit 2 recent references covering at least one year within the last three years.
