Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This position requires a candidate with charge nurse experience and current licensure, working in a high-volume obstetrics department. The role involves providing specialized care for obstetric patients, including high-risk antepartum and labor cases, as well as managing various procedures within a Magnet-designated facility.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP; must have current AK RN license in hand for auto-offer
Education Requirements: Willingness to train as charge nurse preferred; no minimum experience required with one year of experience preferred
Job Role: Providing comprehensive obstetric care, including labor, delivery, and postpartum support within a high-acuity unit
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting 10/27/2026 through 04/27/2027
Experience: 1 year of related clinical experience; charge nurse experience preferred or willingness to train as a charge
Respond to all submittal requirements including employment references, certifications, and licensure documentation
Additional Information: Willingness to work every other weekend; float within scope to meet departmental needs; limited rotation or block schedule not accommodated; no local candidates accepted; candidates must be at least 50 miles away from the facility, with pending license acceptable for submission.
