The role requires collaborating with the inter-professional team to ensure safety, quality, and compassionate support throughout the entire labor and delivery experience.

Certifications & Education: Current California Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification via AWHONN; BSN degree required.
Experience: Minimum of three years of recent labor and antepartum experience.
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), current California RN License, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification via AWHONN, with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse II independently provides patient care, demonstrating expertise in patient and family-centered care, safety, evidence-based practice, and collaborative teamwork. The role involves evaluating clinical practices, participating in quality improvement, and utilizing clinical equipment and technology proficiently. Responsible for guiding unlicensed assistive personnel in accordance with organizational policies and the California Nurse Practice Act.
