Magnet Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- Recent experience with:
- Postpartum care
- Couplet care
- Circulating for C-sections
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of RN experience.
Licensure & Certifications
- Active Alaska RN license required.
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Fetal Monitoring
- If not currently licensed in Alaska at the time of submission, the candidate must begin the licensing application within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
Scheduling Requirements
- Floating: Required to all departments as needed.
- Weekends: 6 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule.
- On-Call: 3 on-call shifts every 6-week schedule.
- Holidays: As required by unit needs.
Time Off
- Up to 14 days of requested time off (RTO) may be approved.
- Maximum of 4 weekend shifts may be requested off.
- All RTO must be submitted at the time of candidate submission.
Housing
- Free housing provided for one occupant.
- Pet-friendly housing is not available.
Traveler Eligibility
- Candidate's permanent residence must be more than 50 miles from Fairbanks, Alaska.

- 17-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit
- PRN staff work in:
- Labor & Delivery
- Postpartum
- Couplet Care
- Triage
- Approximately 80 deliveries per month.
