• Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend required; 2 of 4 holidays may be required based on unit needs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required; Vermont RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum Care, and Newborn Care required
• AHA BLS and NRP required
• Epic experience within the last 2 years required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to float to Med Surg and ED units as needed
• Reliable transportation strongly recommended

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate Labor & Delivery nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care settings
• Support patients and families throughout the birth experience with professionalism, empathy, and clinical expertise
• Monitor maternal and newborn status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote positive patient outcomes and smooth patient flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and use Epic efficiently in daily workflow
• Float to Med Surg and ED units when needed to support staffing coverage
• Participate in a schedule that includes weekends and selected holidays to meet unit needs
