Key Responsibilities

As an L&D RN, you will:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process
• Perform thorough assessments and identify patient care needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Promote a safe, healing, compassionate, and patient-centered environment
• Educate patients and families regarding care, treatment, and health needs
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
• Appropriately delegate and coordinate activities among healthcare team members
• Apply sound clinical judgment and critical thinking in patient care situations
• Maintain professional standards of nursing practice and patient safety

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification from an approved provider
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Labor & Delivery experience
• Acute-care experience preferred
• BSN preferred
