Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 19:00 – 07:30 | Flexible Weekly Options: 36, 40, or 48 Hours Per Week
    • Shift Structures: 36 or 48 Hours (3x12 or 4x12 Nights) | 40 Hours (2x12-Hour shifts + 2x8-Hour shifts).
    • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Guaranteed minimum per week.
  • Candidate & Radius Policies: Local and travel candidates accepted. Candidates residing within 50 miles are categorized as local.
  • VMS & Screening Note: All candidate submissions undergo direct Clinical Interview Services (CIS) screening.
  • Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract (09/21/2026 – 12/19/2026) | 2 Open Positions | Requisition ID: #South Shore Hospital-AN-2500

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Labor & Delivery RN experience in an acute care hospital environment [HARDSTOP].
  • Surgical Competency [HARDSTOP]: Must have direct, demonstrated C-section circulating experience [HARDSTOP].
  • Licensure Requirements [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active Massachusetts State RN License [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring - Minimum Intermediate Level) certification [HARDSTOP].
  • Preferred Certifications (Not Required): ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics), Perinatal NCC (Inpatient Obstetric Nursing or Maternal Newborn Nursing), First Latch Breastfeeding Certification.
