Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,466 per week in Austin, TX

Job Title: RN - Postpartum Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Partum / Mom Baby Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS Required Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Postpartum specialty. The assignment duration is 13 weeks with a shift from 07:00 to 19:00. No call is required for this position. The unit has 24 beds and a patient ratio of 3:1 to 4:1, occasionally adjusting to 2:1 based on patient acuity. A typical staffing level consists of 1 charge nurse, 4 registered nurses, and 1 clerk during the day. There are no patient care technicians assigned during the night shift. The types of procedures performed on this unit include non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin drips, magnesium administration, and heparin drips. Candidates must possess a valid BLS certification to be considered. The best candidates will be team-oriented with strong communication skills. The dress code includes navy blue scrubs.
