Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,732 per week in Nashville, TN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM Must-Have: Experience in care of the laboring patient, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, and ability to circulate and recover cesarean section patients Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery specialty. The unit has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Staff includes RNs, a unit secretary, and OR techs. The documentation system used is CPN and Meditach. Scheduling requirements include three weekend shifts, one call shift for RNs, and two call shifts for techs. Travelers will float first as part of the floating policy. Candidates must have advanced skills in caring for laboring patients and newborns post-delivery. The unit performs vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor. Scrubs are required and should be in Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray.
