**Job Description:**
- **Unit Specifics:**
- Number of Beds: 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED
- Patient Ratios: 1-2
- Unit Staffing:
- Unit Secretary and scrub tech
- Dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24/7
- OBGYN on call
- Documentation System: CPN and Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month
- Floating Policy: Potential to float to maternity/birthing unit or outside department to complete tasks
- Patient Experience Requirements: Maintain above 75%
- **Hospital Specifics:**
- Certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
- **Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have:**
- Passion for providing the highest quality of care to our laboring patients
- Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities based on patient preference
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Knowledge in Spinning Babies technique
- STABLE certification is also a plus
- **Procedures Performed on Unit:**
- Circulating in OR
- IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration
- Postpartum hemorrhage management (JADA system)
- Nitrous oxide use
- **Dress Code:**
- Uniform: Hot pink and black (black on bottom preferred, hot pink on top)
