# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery RN – Tennessee**Start Date:** September 28, 2026 **Location:** Middle Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts; 4 weekend shifts per month**Highlights:** - 9-bed labor and delivery unit with 3 swing rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 3-bed OBED utilizing a collaborative laborist team model- 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with 24/7 in-house midwife support, dedicated CRNA, and OBGYN on call- Couplet care model promoting breastfeeding and family-centered care, with donor milk available when needed- EMR systems include CPN and Meditech; procedures include IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, circulating in OR, and JADA system for postpartum hemorrhage management- Recipient of HCA Unit of Distinction 2021; participating pilot hospital for NTSV and Team Birth initiatives with TIPQC- Access to 8-bed Level II NICU with 24/7 neonatal nurse practitioner coverage for high-risk delivery support**Requirements:** - Active Tennessee RN license or ability to obtain licensure- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required- Labor and delivery nursing experience preferred- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and supporting individualized birth plans- STABLE and Spinning Babies training helpful but not required**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in an award-winning women's services unit dedicated to personalizing each birth experience according to patient preferences and needs.
