Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,877 per week in Nashville, TN

# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – TennesseeStart Date: September 21, 2026Location: Nashville, TennesseeCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per month; rotating schedule with shared call coverageHighlights:

• 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a dedicated Women's and Children's facility
• 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring quality care and manageable workload
• Comprehensive L&D services including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Documentation systems include CPN and Meditach electronic medical records
• Collaborative team environment with RNs, unit secretaries, and OR techs providing strong support
• Shared decision-making model promoting patient-centered care and exceptional patient experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification OR C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS, and BLS
• Demonstrated competency in care of laboring patients, newborn immediate care, and circulating/recovering cesarean section patients
• Experience with epidural anesthesia management, D&C, and cerclage procedures preferred
