Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,920 per week in Conroe, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Transition, postpartum, and newborn experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The unit has 8 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 operating rooms, and 1 recovery room bed. There are 32 staff members on the unit. Day shift staffing includes a CNC, 5 RNs, a Transition RN, and a Unit Secretary. Night shift staffing includes a CNC, 4 RNs, a Transition RN, a Unit Secretary, and a CST. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 to 2:1. Equipment used includes GE Monitors, Panda Warmers, Novi, Neptune, CPN, and Meditech EMR. Typical procedures performed on the unit include laboring and vaginal delivery, C-sections, and care of newly delivered mothers and their newborns. The ideal candidate will be a team player, motivated, independent, and flexible. Every other weekend is required for this position.
