Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,935 per week in Beaufort, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, ACLS preferred Must-Have: 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required First-time travelers accepted Ratios: 1:2 Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery. You will provide maternal and obstetric care. Responsibilities include attending high-risk and premature deliveries. You will also provide postpartum and couplet care. You will perform antepartum triage nursing and be an OR circulator for Cesarean sections. Experience with respiratory support and resuscitation is essential. You must possess skills in the administration of blood and blood products. Knowledge of handling adult cardiac arrest and amnioinfusion is required. Charting experience with Meditech is preferred. You should be comfortable with high-risk antepartum care and postpartum hemorrhage management. Skills in recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns are necessary. You will be required to float within the facility and work weekends and holidays as needed. Candidates must be able to work with high patient-to-clinician ratios.
