Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,946 per week in Reston, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate Must-Have: Experience in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit Experience in scrub role and circulating in OR Description: The unit has 15 Labor, Delivery, Recovery rooms. There are 3 ORs and 4 bay PACU. The unit includes 4 antepartum rooms and a Level III NICU. The documentation system used is Meditech, CPN. Scheduling requirements include shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Floating is required within the women's and children's service line. Patient experience requirements include labor and delivery, circulating for C-sections, and managing IV drips such as magnesium in high acuity cases. Advanced skills are needed, including experience with various procedures such as cesarean sections, epidurals, spinals, cerclages, and versions. Experience with blood patches is not commonly required. The dress code consists of hospital-supplied scrubs.
