Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Labor and Delivery assignment in San Antonio, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Care for patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
- Monitor fetal heart tones, contractions, and maternal vital signs
- Administer IV medications and manage oxytocin and epidural drips
- Assist physicians during deliveries, including emergency C-sections
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Document all care clearly and in accordance with hospital protocols
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Experience with both routine and high-risk deliveries preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
