Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRPS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is preferred. - Experience circulating for C-sections is required. - Ability to work within scope and float as needed. Description: Unit details include weekend coverage every other weekend. Call requirements include one 12-hour shift per schedule. Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met in time, the start may be pushed back by two weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Staffing and scheduling are self-scheduled. Patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends are 2:1. Float may be required as needed based on facility demands. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, and New Year's Eve and Day. All RTO (request time off) must be finalized at the time of submission. No RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite. Compliance onboarding must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. All compliance documents must be submitted by the deadline prior to start. Modules are non-billable, hours are factored into the non-billable orientation modules. Modules will be completed during orientation and vary by specialty.
