Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,966 per week in Stockbridge, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRPS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience Description: This is a Labor and Delivery position requiring a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates will be expected to float within the facility as needed. The nurse will participate in weekends on a rotating schedule. One 12-hour call shift will be required per schedule. It is expected that the traveler will work major holidays if they fall during the assignment period. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance is required to start on time, and candidates must complete onboarding documents promptly. Clinical screening will be conducted to determine fit for the position. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. The nurse will be responsible for circulating for C-sections in addition to labor and delivery duties. The unit typically handles an average daily census of 5 patients and has 12 beds available. Interdisciplinary support services will be available, including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services. Patient age groups include adults. The work environment may require flexibility to adapt to patient care needs.
