Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $1,987 per week in Frankfort, KY

Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting. Candidates must possess a valid nursing license. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN are required. The unit includes 7 Labor and Delivery beds, 14 Mother-Baby beds, and a Level 2 NICU/NB Nursery. The staff consists of 58 members including RNs, OB technicians, and unit clerks. Patient ratios are 2:1 in Labor and Delivery, 6-8:1 in Mother-Baby, and 1-4:1 in NICU, depending on acuity. Typical procedures performed on the unit include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, labor inductions, IV insertion, lab draws, and assisting with epidurals. A team-oriented personality is essential for this role. Every other weekend availability is required. We provide scrubs for infant security.
