Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Labor and Delivery assignment in Arlington, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Monitor fetal heart tones, contractions, and maternal vital signs
- Administer medications including oxytocin, antibiotics, and pain management
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Support and educate patients and their families
- Document care and interventions per hospital standards and protocols
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license (Texas or Compact State)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; AWHONN Fetal Monitoring preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Proficient in managing both low-risk and high-acuity obstetric cases
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
