Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Labor and Delivery assignment in Austin, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Provide care to laboring patients, assist in deliveries, and monitor fetal and maternal well-being
- Administer medications and manage epidural and oxytocin drips
- Assist OB/GYNs and support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
- Respond to emergencies such as fetal distress or postpartum hemorrhage
- Collaborate with NICU, anesthesia, and other care team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital protocols
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NRP and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring required
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Labor and Delivery experience
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies preferred
- Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
