Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Pay Information
$2,000 to $2,100 per week
Shift Details
Nights - 3 x 12 hours
About the Position
- Provide direct patient care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum mothers and newborns.
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate tracings and maternal vital signs.
- Assist with labor induction, augmentation, and operative deliveries as indicated.
- Administer medications and manage epidural and IV therapy per hospital policy.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
- Respond to emergencies, including obstetric hemorrhage, preeclampsia, and neonatal resuscitation.
- Participate in unit call rotation (12 hours per 6-week period).
- Float to other maternal-child units or sister facilities as required.
- Promote patient safety, education, and family-centered care.
