Nights - 3 x 12 hours

About the Position

 

• Provide direct patient care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum mothers and newborns.
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate tracings and maternal vital signs.
• Assist with labor induction, augmentation, and operative deliveries as indicated.
• Administer medications and manage epidural and IV therapy per hospital policy.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
• Respond to emergencies, including obstetric hemorrhage, preeclampsia, and neonatal resuscitation.
• Participate in unit call rotation (12 hours per 6-week period).
• Float to other maternal-child units or sister facilities as required.
• Promote patient safety, education, and family-centered care.
