Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,005 per week in Claremore, OK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid state RN license required Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP, preferred ACLS, STABLE Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Charting experience with Epic - Weekend availability required - No local candidates within a 75-mile radius Description: Provide care for Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn patients. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Charting system used is Epic. Certifications required include AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP, and preferred ACLS, STABLE. Weekend shifts are mandatory. Duties include administration of medications, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary support services. Travelers will be expected to float to similar units within their scope, as needed. Candidates must possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Orientation will be provided onsite. Experience with high-risk deliveries and postpartum hemorrhage management is preferred. Familiarity with newborn assessments and neonatal resuscitation is essential. The candidate should be proficient in pain management and patient education.
