Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery
Labor, delivery, recovery, and antepartum care
Triage and circulate for C-sections
1st hour baby care (excluding admission assessment, eyes, and thighs)
Provide breastfeeding assistance
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery
Current Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (within the previous 2 years)
L&D experience
Current NRP and BLS certification
